Reservation Policies

We feel it is important to remind you that Cambie lodge is a small business where every reservation small or large has a large effect on our wellbeing. When a reservation is made ahead of time this means we agree to turn away all other people who may want reserve this room. Last minute reservations cancelation provide us too little time to re-book a room and this means we lose potential business. When these unwarranted losses add up and it can mean big problems for a small business like ours. As such, we are forced to abide to strict reservation and cancellation policies


Guestroom guarantee: Cambie Lodge Bed and Breakfast requires a valid credit card to guarantee your reservation. Please note to process your reservation we have to validate your credit card, some deposit may apply less than $1.00. The reservation name and the credit card name have to be mach, if somebody book a room for you or you book for somebody else, we will need a credit Card- Autorization form, from the person who will pay the invoice

Same day reservation: The total amount of your reservation will be charged at the time the reservation is made and is non-refundable.

BILLING: Please note, the total amount of your bill will be charged to the credit card that we have on file three days before the arrival date. If you wish to pay with a different card, you must to contact us by phone: 1-604-872-3060 or by email and provide us a new credit card number.  If your credit card is declined, we will send you an email to request an update for the billing information. After the email is sent we will only hold your reservation for 24 hours unless a response is received. If no reply is received the reservation will be cancelled.


Free Cancellation: If cancelled or modified up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 100 percent of the first night will be charged.

Prepaid: If you cancel more than 72 hours prior to the day of arrival, we will refund the total amount paid in advance. Likewise if you modify your reservation more than 72 hours prior to the day of arrival we will refund any balance in excess of the final amount owed. However, if you cancel your reservation less than 72 hours from your day of arrival (3:00 pm), we will keep the total amount due for the first night and will only refund the difference. If you modify your reservation less the 72 hours from the date being modified we will keep the total amount for one extra days stay on top of the newly modified reservation and the excess amount will be refunded.

Non-refundable/ Prepaid: You only have 4 hours after the reservation has been made to cancel or modify your reservation. If you cancelled the reservation after 4 hours there will be no return of any founds. Once made a prepaid / non-refundable reservation can not be modified. Please note: if you have a reservation for more than 1 night and you don’t show up on your arrival date, we will reopen the room for sale on the next day at 3:00 pm.

Last minute Reservation: This reservations is non-refundables,  not available for modification, if you cancel  there will be no return of any founds. Please note: in case of a no show , we will cancel your reservation and there will be no refunds. This property is privately owned and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and reserves the right to assign and reassign the guest to equivalent accommodation as the management sees fit.
